For those who suffer with arthritis, each movement can sometimes seem like a stab from a knife. The pain can range from mild to moderate and even debilitating. There is also a frustrating stiffness that is often described as the joints being 'tight' or 'locked.' This is either separate or due to the swelling and inflammation that arthritis brings to individuals. Many people who deal with arthritis are not able to do the things they could do before. For example, working, cleaning house, walking long distances and more. This is also very irritating and can leave you feeling very helpless. For these people, a great arthritis remedy is not only helpful, but is a miracle.

For those who suffer with arthritis, each movement can sometimes seem like a stab from a knife. The pain can range from mild to moderate and even debilitating. There is also a frustrating stiffness that is often described as the joints being 'tight' or 'locked.' In order to be called 'great,' the remedy must actually work, and this means getting rid of the pain first of all. For a long time, the traditional arthritis remedy for pain was NSAIDs and cox-2 inhibitors. These would relieve the pain of arthritis by inhibiting the substances in our bodies which manage the pain and swelling of arthritis. However, some of these NSAIDs were found to be very dangerous for people and sometimes even fatal. Many of them were pulled from the shelves in order to keep people from endangering themselves with them. For instance, the medicine Vioxx which was used by many people for the relief of arthritis pain and swelling was found to be dangerous.

Fresh fruits incorporated in your daily diet like pineapple can also help alleviate the pains of swollen joints. It is also important to have a diet low in sugar and fats.
The next effective home remedy for arthritis is quite simple and can be done by anyone. This is simply to soak in a hot bath. The heat that the water contains will help to effectively soothe the symptoms of arthritis by soothing inflammation and providing more freedom in joint movement. Many people may even place a small amount of vinegar in the water to help sooth the pain of arthritis. If you are comforted by cool water, you may choose to sit in a tub of cool water rather than warm water.
