We all like seeing our favorite celebrities with makeup on and dressed incredibly. As much as we love to see them all glamorous and shining we can't get enough of them in their private lives. They are normally only caught in their day to day home lives with out their makeup. Some celebrity photographers focus entirely on catching famous singers without makeup as well as models and actresses.

We are all used to seeing our favorite stars with their hair and makeup perfect. Initially, it catches us by surprise when we see them without makeup. The appearance of these stars changes drastically when they are no longer in professional hair and makeup. When they are in their makeup you get the full effect of glamour from them. Celebrities look as common as you and me under all of that makeup.
There are flaws on their faces, things like warts, pimples and discolorations are noticeable without them. Melissa Gilbert without makeup doesn't have that perfectly even toned face we all envy. She's not the only one that looks drastically different. Take a closer look at those pictures next time and you will see just how different they look.
Goldie Hawn and other more mature actresses often show up in the photos. The ageless appearance onscreen disappears without the makeup. Actresses and musicians with no makeup look just like the rest of us plain people. If they don't get their hair touched up when they do the makeup you will see some gray.
Are you able to visualize your favorite music artist without make up? What about Kiss? You can't forget the wonderful times of all the great bands and the charming makeup. Without wearing makeup, Poison and Kiss look like very different people. Of course the fact that they are men makes it obvious that they look different without the makeup. The difference is amazing, no longer are the faces completely hidden under perfect makeup, the flaws all show. It's amazing to see Gene Simmons out of makeup, he almost doesn't look like the man in KISS! Do you recall Boy George from the 1980s? You would hardly recognize him now as that same person, since he works at a hot London club as a dance DJ and works with the Ministry of Sound. Then there is Adam Ant who used to wear a white stripe of makeup across his face. This can be a surprise to see them with no makeup on.
Celebrities with no makeup help our self confidence. They are all airbrushed and painted on magazine covers mostly but the times they aren't made up make the rest of us feel better. Looking through magazines and seeing the models all made up can sometimes make us feel self conscience about the way we look. When looking at those photographs, it's easy to forget that we are fine the way we are. That is, until they appear to use with no makeup on.
We don't feel the need to be quite so perfect once we see their flaws. They have acne and skin conditions just like all of us. Without makeup on laugh lines and wrinkles become visible. Aren't you already feeling better about yourself? Oh yes. You certainly do. You know now that this is all an illusion.
Next time you look at the cover of some glamour magazine just smile and know that you are just like them. You just don't have a professional makeup artist in your bathroom waiting to make you look perfect every morning. If you were provided with this luxury you would look amazing all the time too.
