Both men and women are going for a quick fix of either injections or, more drastically, surgery. This means that they are voluntarily having pieces of their bodies cut off or have artificial substances put inside them rather than trying a non surgical facelift.

These same people will probably be spending a second fortune on gym membership and will be wasting hours pounding away at treadmills and weights to get their body in shape, yet they will not countenance spending 5 to 10 minutes on some anti aging skin care that will improve their looks. This is perplexing given that a lot of time and effort has to be used just to arrive at the gym, in fact it probably takes less time to do the exercises than to pack you gym bag.

Not all facial exercises are the same. By far the best, are the isometric type which really improve the muscle tone for that youthful look. The beauty is, these can be used at the same time as putting on your face cream so you are not really using that much extra time of your life.

Facial exercises alone are not the full answer to a beautiful face, there are many other strategies that should be utilised in the fight against ageing, for instance, acupressure massage which targets the acupoints of the face, which helps to increase the energy flow and thus allows the toxins to be released giving the skin a healthy glow. This too can be done at the same time as the normal beauty regimen.

Your acupressure massage can be supercharged by using a special type of magnet on the acupoints of the face. The easiest way is to use a special mask that has the magnets already fixed in place. You can wear it as you watch TV. This magnet therapy also helps to increase blood flow which means more oxygenating blood reaching the dermis. Using them for a few weeks before surgery will improve the muscle tone and development and give the surgeon a better base to work from. About 8 to 10 weeks after your operation you can restart your exercises which will keep your lifting in place and you may not have to go back for more surgery.

Finally, the saddest thing is that facial exercises are not even considered by the young, yet they have the most to gain from it. Not only will they stave off the signs of ageing and so keep looking good, they can also use it to help re-shape their faces. When it comes to the non surgical face lift, facial exercises are the way to go.
