Hair Loss has many causes a major one is because of genetic reasons, which are generally shared by both men and women. Getting hair loss for the first time is quiet upsetting even to the most robust of personalities. Because of the way genetics work it is usually difficult and expensive to diagnose properly.

These universal causes include hair follicle damage. Hair follicle damage can occur due to many environmental and societal hair care choices. While there are surely some sources of hair follicle damage which a person is unable to change, others require a simple adjustment to hair care and styling techniques.

What are the Causes of Follicle Damage ?

When men and women lose hair, it is sometimes caused by damage to the follicle. Hair follicle damage can occur as a result of the overuse of chemicals, heat damage, and follicular breakage. These causes of Hair loss are ones that are societal and can be changed to prevent further Hair loss.

With everybody using new and in many cases new types of hair treatments there has been a growth in men using these same products. Unfortunately in many cases these have started to be the problem, and because of the strength of these products today some of the damage is starting to become more severe. This damage can become irreparable and may even cause the hair to die.

One cause that is often overlooked is the damage done by using a hair dryer. Because men are starting to use a hair dryer more as well they are now experiencing the damage caused by this. By overusing a hair dryer and cooking your hair this can also lead to ongoing hair loss.

Hair brushing is also many times found to cause hair not to grow back because of damaged hair follicles. Generally this is the results of trying to brush out knot's and tangles. Even if your hair is wet or dry this resultant damage can cause some bad follicle damage.

Helping with stopping this types of hair loss.

While in many circumstance men and women have different kinds of hair loss problems, universal hair loss is a problem that sometimes crosses the gender barrier. If you are feeling that this may be a problem then now is the time to act. Firstly reduce the amount of chemicals you use this is a great way to start your step to healthier hair. Secondly when drying your hair with a blowing device have it on the lowest setting. Finally when brushing knots take your time and don't rush be kind to your hair. Remember the same with many lifestyle issues the best way is to practice prevention because this is 10 easier than finding a cure.
