Some years ago it was all resell and master resell rights. You bought the goods and could use it as well as sell it and get you money back plus.

Well, resell rights are still very popular. Even more popular, though, today are PLR Private Label Rights. Why is this? There are distinct advantages with private label rights software over master resell rights.

In resell or master resell rights you could sell the item and make a profit. But there is a major restriction. You cannot change anything about the product. Often in selling a product with master resell rights you were distributing information with links to the author's products or list. Every time you sold the product you benefited because you kept 100% of the sale.

In fact the biggest beneficiary to your sales was not you, even though you could keep 100% of the profit. The author was the biggest winner. The reason is that each time you sell another master resell rights product you are passing on the links the author has placed into the software. These links represent future sales to products and services from which the author benefits.

PLR (private label rights) make it possible for you to be the author with little effort on your part. You are able to include your own viral links.

You also have the ability to change the product and update it so that you introduce a fresh new product onto the market. Most private label products come with source graphics so that you are able to even give them a new look.

As you can see, there are many advantages with private label rights software. You have a far greater potential of creating that income you desire.

How would you use PLR to produce a new product? You could get together 2 or 3 products that are similar. Choose what you want to use from each and then bring it together. You also need to do a little research to make sure the information is up to date. Make sure you include a resource section with useful links that will benefit the reader as well as yourself. Put it into a PDF (Adobe Acrobat Reader) file. Now you have created a new product.

Always check the license you receive with your PLR product. The best license is the unrestricted one. With the unrestricted license you can do whatever you like.

In summary: PLR will end up far more profitable for you. You have the freedom to make it viral. This means that it can create a residual income for you. Master resell rights can't do this.
