Most men have fears - some don't like spiders, others don't like heights, and still others fear going bald or getting a pot belly. These are not things that men naturally lay out on the table and discuss. One very common fear among men, though, that should be discussed, is the fear of approaching women.

These are not things that men naturally lay out on the table and discuss. One very common fear among men, though, that should be discussed, is the fear of approaching women.
The first thing a man needs to do to overcome approach anxiety is to practice approaching women constantly. Practicing will help you overcome what you fear, make you more comfortable, confident and more successful with women and dating. Women can sense confidence in a man - it's like a cologne to them. Having more will certainly help you get her number.
Every time you see a woman you want to approach, go talk to her before you can talk yourself out of it. One thing that really helps men with this kind of cold approach is using techniques like Cocky Funny or Cocky Comedy.
Cocky Comedy is a technique developed by David Deangelo of Double Your Dating which uses humor to both create and promote attraction. It is incredibly effective, and very easy to pull off in a natural way. Cocky Comedy is all about busting on a girl, keeping her on her toes because you show her with your words that you are not impressed with her, but your body language tells her something different.
This can be done as simply as this. Show her with your body that you are attracted to her by doing small things like touching her hair or putting your hand on her back. But then, verbally bust on her - tell her that she is too short to be able to drive a car, or that her cooking obviously sucks because she is too skinny, or something like that. A word to the wise, though - never tell her she is fat!
This keeps the woman slightly confused, and more attracted to you because of it. Think of it this way - if a woman knows she has you in the bag - where is the fun or challenge in that? Gone - out the window along with her attraction. But if you keep her wondering, then she will end up chasing you.
The long term effects of this, on a man, are that the more you practice and get comfortable approaching women, you will start to see that women are very similar in their attraction preferences. Looks don't necessarily matter to women, it is the way you make her FEEL that matters to her. You will also develop the ability to disarm people, total strangers, using Cocky Comedy, and will develop a confidence and an aura that women will find irresistible.
So - practice approaching women and using Cocky Comedy to engage them. Soon, you will find that you are becoming more and more successful in meeting the kind of woman you want to date, losing your own fears and anxiety and showing her that you are a calm, cool and confident man.
