Getting your ex girlfriend back can be a very difficult task especially if it is one sided. The breakup may have also been shocking to you, if it had come suddenly out of nowhere.

I have got very emotional during this period of time and had tried drinking to forget her. However, it made it even worse as I ended up drunk dialing my girlfriend, making myself look even worse. That embarrassed me greatly and I even sought to found out from her best friends why she wanted the breakup.

Below here are some useful tips that have been successful for many others and me in getting my girlfriend back together with me even after a bad breakup.

The very first thing that you can do is to write a letter of apology to her. This has worked for many others and ease any tension that is within your relationship to allow you to use other moves to get your girlfriend back to you. Many difficult relationship have been mended and couples have got back together successfully because of apology by one side of the party first.

A very simple letter will do, apologizing on the things that you had done wrongly before the period of the breakup, to let her know that you are sorry and that you accept the breakup. By first accepting the relationship breakup, it removes her guard against you and you can use this chance to get back together with her. This is one of the first most important things to do to get her back.

Second thing to know importantly is to know what do girls really want. Many guys think that it is money, or a more handsome guy that comes along. Or someone that can provide her with more pretty gifts, etc. I didn't realize that I got it very wrong.

All girls like to be paid attention to and somebody who appreciates every small little thing that she does. This is one of the ways to keep your girl beside you and one of the things you can do immediately to get her back to your side.

Thirdly, I found out that when getting my ex girlfriend back to me, time was actually my greatest enemy that I had to content with. The time went by that I didn't do anything or take any action to get my girlfriend back, she slowly forgotten and didn't care or bother with me anymore. It was almost as if she has excluded me from her life. This was bad for me and I knew that I must do something to get her back.
