After many approaches and many dates I have learned many of the things guys do to make idiots of themselves around women. Most of these are simple and even obvious. Unfortunately, just because they are simple doesn't mean you fully realize the effects they could be having on your dating life.

After many approaches and many dates I have learned many of the things guys do to make idiots of themselves around women. Most of these are simple and even obvious. Unfortunately, just because they are simple doesn't mean you fully realize the effects they could be having on your dating life.
Were going to take a look at some of the things that I have done that made me look like a fool around women. You can learn from my mistakes by avoiding all of these.
Pickup Lines
I used to always think that you were suppose to use a pickup line to meet women. I think that most of us guys do. The problem is that they rarely ever work. The times that they do work is usually on women who don't get hit on very much. Its more effective to have a plan to engage her with interesting conversation.
Buying Her Drinks
I've had a few bad experiences with buying women drinks. Here is an example of what I mean.
Once I started buying a woman drinks she would allow me to keep buying her drinks until she was drunk. By the time she was done drinking she was a mess and I was poor from buying her drinks. This will happen over and over again if you allow it to. Don't buy her drinks or at least get her to buy you some too.
Not Escalating
When a woman gives signs that she wants to be kissed then you better kiss her. When she gives you any signs to move forward physically then you have to move forward. Those go signals are crucial to your dating success. Women feel rejected when you don't read her signs. You have to have the confidence to move things forward.
Staring Instead Of Approaching
Most guys rather look at a woman then approach that woman. They think "look but don't touch". That may be true for a married man, but not for us single guys. A woman is much more likely to think your a fool if you stare for long periods of time, then she would if you started a conversation with her.
Getting Drunk
Its almost common practice now of days for a guy to get drunk so he can approach a woman. What you have to realize is that it wont cover up your fear. If anything, getting drunk will only make you look more like a fool. Your going to have to come up with a better way to deal with your approach anxiety then this.
Conclusion
The problem with most of these mistakes is that they make you look insecure. Learn to think a little bit like a woman. "A man who has to be drunk to talk to women must not be able to carry a conversation without being drunk." "A man who is afraid to take the lead wont be able to meet my needs." For a woman those are the sorts of things that go through her mind. Those are scary thoughts for her.
