Isn't it so wonderful when you get a beautiful woman's number? Few things can feel as self-validating as walking away from a gorgeous woman back to your friends with a cocktail napkin smeared with digits. Unfortunately, this is very short lived if she doesn't call you back. If you leave a message on her phone that doesn't reflect well on you, she's going to click delete and forget she ever knew you. It is essential that you do this right.

Here are the 4 mistakes almost EVERY man makes when leaving a message for the first time
Mistake #2: Trying too hard to refresh her memory in how she knows you.
She might not remember you, especially if it's been a couple days. That's why it's good to give her a brief reminder, such as "Hey this is Jack. Met you at Tiger Lounge on Saturday." That should be enough, if your conversation had any substance. Leave out any details such as what shirt you were wearing, what you two talked about, what your job is, etc.
Mistake #2: Leaving a message more than 30 seconds.
Women receive messages all the time from men who gab on and on about what they did today, and who they saw, and what they're doing. This isn't what she wants to hear. Wouldn't you tell her all this when she called you back anyway? Oh that's right, you were concerned she wasn't going to call you back, and this was your one chance. If you were thinking that, she could probably tell, and then be even less likely to call you back. Keep it short.
Mistake #3: Too much background noise
You want your message to be completely clear when she hears your voice on the phone for the first time. If you're at a bar, or on a busy street, or doing dishes, she has to work too hard to hear you, and will not be totally relaxed when she takes your voice in and might even hang up and delete the message without hearing it. Be in a quiet place when you call.
Mistake #4: Needing her to call back too much.
You can say "please" at the restaurant, "please" at work, and "please" at the post office, but never say six-letter word when trying to get a woman to call you back. This is because when you say "please," you are implying that she's doing a favor by calling you back. "We'll talk later" or "Give me a call," is fine.
There is definitely no full proof solution to girls not returning phone calls, but if you avoid these major pitfalls, you can expect your callback rate to increase by at least 50%. There is a ton more to the art of "phone game," but you are now ahead of the vast majority of men calling women back for dates.
