The secret about "The Secret" is that it's no secret. No, I'm not being cute with a play on words. Basically, the secret is that whatever we think manifests itself in our lives. It is called the "law of attraction."

There are countless stories about how "The Secret" has been used by people to turn their lives around.

Can the law of attraction help us reach our perfect weight and become healthy and happy? Yes, it can. Actually, the law of attraction is what led you to where you are today. Yep, those love handles and hips were attracted by you.

So far you've used the law of attraction to manifest your favorite pizza, nachos, or whatever your weakness food is that you fantasize about.

The law of attraction tells us that whatever we focus or thoughts on becomes our reality. If you think about eating, then you eat and experience the body that eating has given to you.

If when you think about happiness you think about food, then your experience will be that to be happy you must eat. See, it's not the food that makes you happy. It's your thoughts about the food.

How can you harness the law of attraction to create your new fit body?

Start attracting a thin new you to yourself. That's right, think about being happy and thin. Think about the good feeling you will have when people give you compliments about your weight loss.

Stop thinking like a fat person. Stop visualizing your next meal. Stop feeling negative about yourself. Stop avoiding looking at yourself in the mirror. Look in the mirror and say "tomorrow you will be thinner."

If you are struggling to lose weight, stop yourself right now and write down what thoughts turn in your head. Come on, do it. Did you catch yourself thinking bad thoughts about yourself? If you are being truthful, you probably are.

Harness the law of attraction and attract to yourself the body you know you want and should have.

Think about how good you are going to feel with your pants or skirt feeling loose. Think about the compliments you will get about your weight loss. Think about how good you are going to feel after you walk 30 minutes on the treadmill.

Take charge of your mind and fire that little voice that got you where you are today. Feed your mind positive "fit" thoughts and become the new you.
