What makes the grooming process of this breed so easy is that the Boston Terrier is a shorthaired breed, which means that you really can groom it yourself. By taking care of the Boston Terrier grooming process yourself, you are able to save hundreds of dollars a year and also add a little bit of one on one time with your pup which means extra bonding for the two of you and there is nothing better then that.
Unlike some breeds that are hard to give a bath to or hard to brush out, Boston Terrier grooming is a pretty simple job. The coat of this breed is a short coat that is considerably smooth and does shed an average amount of fur. Even though a first guess might lead someone to believe that the Boston Terrier does not need to be brushed, that is simply wrong.
This breed does shed so to help cut down on how much is left throughout your house and car, you will want to give regular brushings. This will not only help cut down on how much fur flies around but will also help your dog relax as it acts as sort of a back rub for the dog and after a while, your pet will learn to look forward to those brushings. Just keep in mind that you are the one responsible for its upkeep so take the job seriously.
