What You Should Know When You Download Songs for Your Zune

With the best portable media player in your hands what you need to do next is to download songs for your Zune. Whether you're a beginner or an avid enthusiast, you will know that it's easy to get songs for Zune. This is because it can get songs from practically any music resource.

When you download songs for your Zune over the internet, you have the option of pay or free sites. When you go into pay sites, you have two options again: pay per song or pay for a one time membership fee. Each of these download options have their perks and downfalls. You will know about them later on. However, before you start your song downloading spree, there are some things you need to consider.

Be sure to know the supported formats your player can read before downloading just about any song. If you do not know yet, it supports formats such as MP3, AAC, or WMA. It's not a problem if you can't find these formats because you can just convert them to a readable format using software.

When you're looking to download songs for your Zune on the internet, you're better off downloading from pay sites. From the two payment options, sometimes a one time subscription fee can be better than individual payments per download. You save a lot more money on the former than on the latter option.

You're better off downloading from pay sites since it carries no or low risk to contracting harmful viruses. Getting a media player of such quality is costly enough; you don't need to add to the cost of repairing or cleaning your Zune from these viruses. Aside from that, free sites usually carry illegal downloads which should always be discouraged at all times.

If you think legal issues are not a problem for you, you still get to encounter other problems with free sites. You will get frustrated since songs are often mislabelled and are usually of poor quality. Don't waste your time downloading these files and don't waste your player on them.

Then again, you can always choose to rip music from your favorite CDs. You get to save money this way too since you already own the CD or can borrow from a friend. All you need is software and you're good to go. You can listen to your favourite music using a much more portable player than the conventional CD player.
