In April 2008, Nintendo releases the long awaited Wii Fit.

Nintendo claims that it gives gamers a mixture of entertainment and exercise and early indications from reviewers who have road tested the game are that this is going to revolutionize health and fitness for the couch potato.

Wii Fit is fitness and fun packaged together. Playing Wii Fit can improve your balance, flexibility, and overall muscle tone - and who expected that from a video game?

The Wii Balance Board looks a lot like a typical bathroom scale and, just like a bathroom scale, can accurately measure a person's weight.

The Wii Balance Board might even be more accurate than a traditional bathroom scale. But besides trying to get you off the couch, the Board also controls the game through the use of pressure sensors, which measure the person's center of balance.

The board is used to control different balance games and exercise routines that provide fun for the whole family. That's probably why gamers and even non-gamers are trying to find it.
