It must be the fervent desire of virtually every golfer to own and be the proud owner of a perfect golf swing, which if they are lucky and fortunate enough to have, will help lower their score as well as add quite a few yards to their drives, and all that it may require is to do a few easy golf exercises. It is claimed that by doing some very easy though specific golf exercises, a golfer can have greater flexibility and also considerable more power and of course own the perfect golf swing.
More Than Simply Walking The Fairways And Striking The Ball
There is a lot more to playing golf than simply walking the fairways and striking the golf ball, for you really need to be physically fit and for that you will need to perform golf fitness exercises that are especially meant for the golfer and which will give the golfer more flexibility and strength, and also make him or her more balanced and be able to endure greater strains as well.
To have the perfect golf swing, you must be flexible in your range of motion so that you can strike the ball perfectly and thus send it farther, and of course, you will need to learn a few intricacies to the golf swing as well. For example, you may need extending your shoulder while you are making your backswing that in turn will help in determining how much power should be transmitted into the ball. If you do these exercises along with a set of fifteen reps, you could very well end up with the perfect golf swing in a short span of time.
There are exercises that you will need to consider which will help you have a perfect golf swing and these include the golf twist, and the golf squat. In the case of the golf twist, you would need to stand like you are addressing the golf ball and then hold a five pound medicine ball in both hands, or even a dumbbell near to the center of your chest and keep your elbows out extended to the side. Next, you should keep your head still and be flat on your feet and then bring up the ball and over to the left just like you do when making a backswing and continue till your right shoulder is beneath the chin. This simple exercise can be repeated for the right side as well, and it should see you achieve the perfect golf swing.
When you practice the golf squat, you need to stand with a ten pound dumbbell down before you using a hand over hand grip and you need to keep your feet about shoulder width apart and then you should lower to the squatting position and then rise your body turning towards the right and at the same time bend the elbows and raise the weight up and above the right shoulder while your hips must be facing to the right, and your weight should be above your right foot while the left heel is raised from the floor. Repeating this exercise about twelve times should help you get a perfect golf swing.
With the golf twist and the golf squat you have two perfect golf swing drills that will see you achieve peak physical fitness that is so important for every golfer to have a perfect golf swing.
