There are three factors that contribute to hypertension...
by ChristianGoodman

There are three factors that contribute to hypertension...

- genetic factors

- dietary factors

- reasons relating to emotional tension and stress

The third reason, emotional tension, is the most harmful.

Genetic Causes:

Primary hypertension is largely caused by these reasons.

Currently, researchers and scientists do not know for sure which genes are actually responsible for the development of hypertension.

The unique characteristics of each one of us are determined by our genes and chromosome's production of proteins.

The research that has been conducted in this field already has been primarily focused on factors affecting the renin-angiotensin-andosterone system which is responsible for helping the body regulate its blood pressure, primarily by controlling the balance of salt, and the state of elasticity within the arteries.

Genetic factors contribute to more than 30% of all cases of primary hypertension.

So despite having a healthy nutrition and fitness plan, this means that those with high blood pressure genes in their system are still prone to the disease. (This can however be avoided. I'll explain how later in this article.)

For example, for people of African heritage in the United States, high blood pressure or hypertension seems to be common among them.

Asian Americans seem to have the lowest cases of hypertension. Also, those born to parents with hypertension have the most probability to also develop the condition.

It is uncommon for unusual genetic disorders to be identified with primary hypertension, as these cases typically identify secondary hypertension instead.

Dietary Causes:

Dietary reasons can also be the cause of hypertension, which includes amount of alcohol we drink, amount of caffeine we take, and amount of food we eat.

If you are overweight, it can have a large influence on whether or not you will develop hypertension, especially when you already have the genes that cause the disease.

Regardless of whether you are overweight or not, eating the wrong foods can cause a steep increase in your blood pressure.

Foods that are rich in cholesterol, Tran saturated fats and an excess of salt are good examples of these bad foods.

One of the major "environmental" causes for hypertension is being overweight.

Drinking too much coffee or excessive caffeine intake can also lead to issues stemming from hypertension development if you do not limit the intake of these beverages. Controlled intake is ok.

Emotional Tension and Stress:

If you take on too much more than you can handle at home, or at work, or with social obligations, you may find yourself with a lot of unnecessary stress.

This stress will stick with you a lot longer than you realize, and can cause many health problems including hypertension.

Anxiety is another major cause for hypertension, as it normally leads to a spike in our blood pressure.

If you worry too much, or are stressed our, you can have chronic hypertension.

Among the three, emotional stress and tension is the more prevalent reason for developing hypertension. Even if your genes are not prone to the disease, and even if you are eating healthy, if you have a high level of stress, you can develop chronic problems with hypertension.

My natural blood pressure exercise program contains three exercises that eliminate stress and tension that relates to hypertension, and dietary and hereditary related hypertension problems as well.
