A business plan is beneficial because it requires you to evaluate the direction of your business and it if done correctly can reveal some of the obstacles you may face. A correctly done business plan will act as a guideline to keep you on track when you become immersed in the day to day activities of your business.

Organizations create business plans for specific reasons but the process of forecasting will in itself improve the odds of success in a business atmosphere that is very aggressive and challenging. Events may not develop precisely the way it is designed within the business plan but preparation gets your organization equipped for what it may encounter. Developing a strategy increases the chances that your business will be better prepared to handle future challenges.

1. Describe what products and services you will offer.

2. What value you will provide customers?

3. What extra value do customers receive when they choose your company over the competition?

4. What price point do your goods or services need to be at?

5. Layout how you are going to fund future projects.

Clearly presenting your company's goals and direction is really about synergizing your teams' effort and direction. Your organizational plan and mission statement can additionally be used to rally and inspire the nucleus of your business. A clearly defined direction and goal will make certain that each person's energy is used with the same results in mind.
