Great testimonials - whether audio or video - can make a huge impact. Yet marketers struggle to find enough good testimonials for their websites.
The best way to get testimonials is to do great work, creating fans that would love to help you market yourself. Even your biggest fans may need a nudge before you see the testimonials roll in.
So, how can you get those testimonials flowing in? There are three simple steps that you can follow, steps that can result in a flood of testimonials.
There are many ways to set up audio on your website. In my opinion, the easiest and best tool in the industry for gathering testimonials and putting them on your website is Audio Generator. You can find it at: www.NewAudioMarketing.com. It is very easy to use.
Follow these three steps to get more testimonials:
Ask for them. Whatever service you have provided, any service at all, e-mail your clients to ask for testimonials. It doesn't have to be a long e-mail. Simplicity works wonders. In your e-mail, try saying, "Dear Ray, Thank you for your purchase of Product X. Would you lease take a few minutes to tell us about your experiences with us. How did you like the service? Was the product satisfactory? If you have positive remarks, we may even include them in our promotional material. Thank you so much for your help." Of course, you will want to put it in your own words, so they know it's from you (and not me!). You can get a great response by just asking for testimonials.
Get an ATM (Automated Testimonial Machine). This works 24/7, whether you are awake or not. Go to this site (mine!) for an example at: http://rayedwards.com/feedback and see "Ray's Automated Testimonial Machine". This is one of the features of Audio Generator.
Use autoresponders to ask for more. Set your autoresponder on automatic pilot, with a built-in testimonial request. Ask your readers, customers, subscribers, and prospects to offer their opinions. Ask more than once, using the autoresponder, then send them to your ATM too!
By using these techniques, you will end up with a stream of testimonials and an automated system that does most of the work for you. Isn't that great?
