Despite my best efforts, and buying just about every home study course on website marketing and traffic generation, I found myself suffering from failure time and time again. I just could not seem to get the amazing results that all the gurus appeared to achieve. I often wondered what they were really doing that I wasn't.

Despite my best efforts, and buying just about every home study course on website marketing and traffic generation, I found myself suffering from failure time and time again. I just could not seem to get the amazing results that all the gurus appeared to achieve. I often wondered what they were really doing that I wasn't.
I often hoped that these "experts" would truly reveal their real secrets and methods that were bringing their success to a little guy like me. I soon started to think that just wouldn't happen. of course, sometimes they will reveal "snippets" of information - but I'm sure the really juicy stuff is kept to themselves. In other words the big traffic generation secrets remain secrets.
Among the tips that are offered by the "gurus", many have flaws and problems.
Let's take the example of targeted traffic acquired through pay-per-click programs. In this kind of program, it is true that you get quality web traffic your way, but the disadvantage is that you are paying a very high price for that traffic - at times as much as $5 per click! In addition, there is absolutely no guarantee that this method would give you a certain minimum percentage of "conversion." I mean, what if your competitors started clicking on those "pay-per-click" ads?
As for search engine optimization - agreed that you can do a basic level of SEO on your website on your own, without having to pay "professionals" for it, but, it requires a lot of hard work and grind - with all that keyword research, analysis and implementation!
An alternative to search engine optimisation is article writing and submission. Again, although you can do this yourself for free, the effort and creative ability required makes it hard. There is a danger that to get your articles written, you will end up spending money on a ghost writer - if you have the budget!
There surely must be a superior way of generating that traffic for your site. Thankfully, there is!
This is the best traffic generation method; especially if you are new in this field. Tap on the customer lists of all those "successful" internet entrepreneurs! Rather than starting on your own "list building" from scratch, form joint venture partnerships with other website owners who already have considerable sized lists! Offer them a good percentage of the profits and most of them will agree to your deal.
Although this may seem very daunting at first, with some determination on your part and by offering enough people your deal, you will make progress. Remember, for your joint verture partners, there should be no cost to them just to send out an email offer on your behalf.
This final method was the missing one. It happens to be the most effective method of traffic generation that is free. It's also the one method the "experts" chose to leave out of their own information products. It's the one secret that has been succesful for me. Let's see if you can succeed this way too!
