Our skin is the only protection we have from the elements and should not be treated poorly; a regular skin care maintenance routine is part of the secret but there is more than just this to learn. Part of the problem with Western women is the need for immediate results, always expecting the cosmetic surgeon to save the day using invasive procedures that often end in failure. However there are common beauty care products that are neither costly nor risky, and can have a multitude of benefits that help women stay both healthy and beautiful.

The problem has always been our image of beauty care products like cold cream and the anti-aging formulations. Today's products are able to do much more after the research that has been carried out and are an important addition to your personal care regime. It is important to remember that skin covers our whole body and not just our faces so it is important to make sure that we maintain this.

The first step in skin care is making sure your skin is clean as pollution like dust, bacteria and make-up all take their toll, so the skin must be clean. To do this requires a gentle cleanser which must be used with cotton wool pads moving the wetted pads in a circular motion around the face until all areas have been done then once you have washed with warm water, use a soft towel to dab your skin until it is dry.

To ensure your PH balance is not disrupted, you will need to use a tone after the cleanser has been applied. Whilst the tone replaces the PH balance, moisturizing afterwards ensures the skin stays supple and can help reduce the signs of aging that come in the form of small wrinkles and lines. Moisturizing beauty care products ensure that all the work you have just carried out to clean, tone and condition your skin does go to waste.

As a regular aspect of your skin care regime you should use a natural peel or exfoliant once or twice a week which helps remove dead skin which can clog the pores. This step means that you will need to cleanse and then use a toner on the skin otherwise the exfoliant may not be completely removed.

If you suffer with lines, wrinkles or puffiness around your eyes then a good beauty care product suggestion is the use of eye creams which will improve the delicate skin in this region. Along with these simple steps above ensure you drink plenty of water, exercise regularly and eat a nutrient rich diet, all of which will help keep your skin looking youthful, radiant and beautiful. It is important to remember that we are covered in skin from our head to our toes and rely on it to protect us, in order to make sure that we maintain the health of this organ we want to look after all of it.
