Most teenagers and youngsters get acne, this is the red puzzy looking bumps you get in your face, some time on your back and shoulders. It is caused by in grown hair and dead skin blocking your hair follicle. Acne also usually referred as zits, blackheads, pimples and spots.

Usually acne affects most teenagers, but it is also can affect adults. There is a lot of treatments for acne. It's always a good idea to consult a dermatologist if you have bad acne break out. I would advice against using creams and lotions off the shelf's, because each skin is unique and wrong treatment can leave a bad scaring and redness.

hormonal changes is the common culprit among teenagers and women that triggers acne breakouts. But oily skin also have a greater probability of causing acne. Some food allergies also been linked to acene breakouts. Nut allergies are very common.

Pressure and sweating pressure, rubbing of the skin and sweating can cause an acne known as acne mechanica. Tight clothes made of synthetics, backpacks, tight helmets and similar items may cause acne.

Easy Acne Treatments

Washing your skin is essential whether you have acne or not. Washing your face twice a day, helps you get rid of bacteria and excess oil. That way you will avoid clogging of your pores, which means no acne.

Please note good care must be taken when using benzoyl peroxide, as it can very easily bleach any fabric or hair it comes in contact with.

common antibacterials that is used in acne treatments include triclosan, or chlorhexidine gluconate. They are known to be with less side-effects.

Prescription-strength benzoyl peroxide preparations do not necessarily differ with regard to the maximum concentration of the active ingredient (10%), but the drug is made available dissolved in a vehicle that more deeply penetrates the pores of the skin.

antibiotics I am not a big fan of this, but externally applied antibiotics such as erythromycin, clindamycin, Stiemycin or tetracycline aim to kill the bacteria that are harbored in the blocked follicles. While topical use of antibiotics is equally as effective as oral use, this method avoids possible side effects including upset stomach and drug interactions but may prove awkward to apply over larger areas than just the face alone.
