Although getting a tattoo is more accepted in American society today, women who choose to get one are still seen as temptingly rebellious. This could be because the tattoo is permanent, or perhaps it is the component of rebellion. Most probably, it is a combination of the two factors.

Women who choose to get a sexy tattoo know what they want, and aren't afraid to go after it. These women decide something, and work to get it. Such a woman is not afraid of making a decision that will have lifelong significance. Because she is happy and confident in who she is, she wants to remember this point in her life forever.

This woman is probably a little bit rebellious, too. She isn't afraid to stretch, bend, and sometimes break the rules. By getting a tattoo, she's making a definite statement, saying, "This is who I am, and I'm not ashamed of it!" She's not going to let anyone else tell her what it means to be feminine or to be a woman. If she wants a tattoo, then she's going to get it, regardless of what anyone else thinks.

This woman is also quick-thinking. Despite the unfairness, some people still condescend toward people with tattoos. Even though she knows her tattoo is sexy, she may need to conceal it for work the next morning. This makes her back the perfect location, allowing her to show off the artwork with short shirts and low-rise jeans. When necessary, however, she can also look the responsible businesswoman with a well-tailored suit.

The back is both sexy and clever. Men find a woman's back very appealing. Those tempting, soft curves are covered by silky smooth, soft skin. The woman who gets a sexy tattoo on her back is attracting attention to one of her most attractive features.

Another great reason to choose the back for a tattoo is that it won't hurt too badly. Some places on the body have more nerve endings than others. The wrist, for example, or the neck are frequently very painful. The skin on the back is not as sensitive, and because it is not exposed to the elements, it will hurt less and heal quickly.

Remember most of all, however, that YOU are the one who makes your tattoos sexy! Use any tattoo design you desire - names, flowers, knots, or symbols - whatever matters most to you. What makes the tattoo sexy is how you flaunt what you've made the decision to get.
